Role Summary
Owns end-to-end category-management playbooks, conducts spend segmentation, develops three-to-five-year category roadmaps, and mentors client buyers on strategic-sourcing best practices.
Essential Qualifications
• B.S. in Supply-Chain, Engineering, Economics, or Finance
• 6 + years in category management or strategic sourcing (> $100 M annual spend)
• Deep knowledge of TCO, should-cost modeling, and market-intelligence tools
Responsibility Highlights
• Map current spend, supplier base, and contract landscape using client ERP data
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to define value levers and risk posture
• Draft category strategies, governance charters, and sourcing wave plans
• Present recommendations to senior leadership and refine based on feedback
• Track savings and compliance metrics post-implementation
