Major Responsibilities
The Sourcing Analyst will work closely with leaders in the Business and Surgical Vision Supply Chain to understand business needs and priorities to ensure supply continuity. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships with key business partners.
• Lead spend analysis and cost optimization initiatives across assigned categories to identify and track savings opportunities
• Support the Senior Sourcing Manager by compiling and sorting data for end-to-end sourcing events (RFQ/RFP/RFI)
• Develop and monitor supplier performance scorecards; drive supplier relationship management and continuous improvement
• Support supplier risk assessments by monitoring Business Continuity Plans for at risk suppliers by ensuring suppliers complete established milestones
• Manage supplier escalations; Demonstrate strong SRM skills by negotiating tradeoffs with suppliers to reduce the likelihood of line down situations
• Negotiate unfavorable price variances and tariffs with Suppliers to minimize the impact to P/L
• Support S&OP meetings with the top 15 suppliers by compiling data, updating and tracking KPIs and supplier scorecards, and capturing notes and sharing action items after the meetings
• Analyze data/market analytics that will be used to develop negotiation strategies with Suppliers to deliver savings to the business
• Support the Senior Sourcing Manager with Compliance projects
• Support the Senior Sourcing Manager with New Product Development Projects

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a procurement/logistics/supply chain role within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• BS Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• Proven ability to influence/collaborate.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
• Analytical-absorb information & solve complex problems quickly.
• Considerable knowledge in Sourcing procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
• Expertise in Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Planning, and Forecasting.
• Financial management & budget development and control.
• SAP Experience.
