Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Project Coordinator with 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination and field operations. This role will support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Support Construction managers and senior construction staff in daily project operations.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, subcontractor performance, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work progress, quality standards, and safety compliance.
• Assist in reviewing construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track project milestones and prepare status reports and meeting minutes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and local building codes.
• Help identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and cost impacts.
• Support procurement and contract administration activities as needed.

Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in:
o Civil Engineering
o Mechanical Engineering
o Electrical Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in construction management, project engineering, or related field experience.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work both in the field and office environment.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to visit active construction sites and walk uneven terrain.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions when required
