Engineering Technician

Job Summary:  
Our company is seeking a versatile and skilled Engineering Technician who possesses drafting capabilities and is adept at using AutoCAD and similar software. The candidate should be proficient in navigating the SAP system to locate product references and have a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). The role requires a high level of critical thinking and excellent soft skills, such as teamwork and collaboration.

Focus on;
 1.     Develop and implement solutions to ensure equipment compliance with Safety and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards in the manufacturing area
2.     Create/Develop/Update Autocad drawings to be used in manufacturing lines.
3.     Support Engineering projects and improvements. (Tasks: data collection, procedure modifications, engineering tests, training, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:  
- Assist in the preparation of design specifications and create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Support engineering projects by performing a variety of tasks, including drafting, research, data analysis, and equipment maintenance.
- Navigate the SAP system to retrieve product references and ensure accurate material selection for projects.
- Adhere to GMP and GDP standards, ensuring that all activities and documentation meet industry regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and test prototypes and new designs.
- Conduct experiments and collect data to support engineering analysis and product development.
- Provide technical support to other departments and assist in troubleshooting issues on the production floor.
- Utilize critical thinking to identify potential issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
- Maintain organized records of all engineering activities in compliance with company policies.

Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other Technical Area.
2. Basic experience in 2D / 3D drawing interpretation
3. Expertise in AutoCad software
4. 1+ years in a GMP regulated manufacturing (preferred)
5. Knowledge in Safety/EHS regulations

 1.    Analytical and problem solving: must be able to identify solutions to problems within scope of responsibility and implement corrective action.
2.    Able to effectively work, communicate (written and oral) and collaborate with peers and other business areas.
3.    Computer knowledge of various applications- to include Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCad, Minitab Statistical software.
4.    Change Management: must be able to develop workable implementation plans and communicate changes effectively.
5.    Able to organize and plan workload on several projects concurrently.
